Content engines

Reels, Shorts and YouTube packs built as formats rather than one-offs: a locked look, a repeatable structure, and a monthly volume you can plan a calendar around. We know what holds attention in this format because we publish in it ourselves and read the numbers afterwards.

A feed is not a place to publish assets. It is a place to tell one story slowly, in instalments, to people who come back.

The Kuttappan channel's publishing cadence

Typical timeline

2 weeks to format lock, then a monthly cycle.

Most brands treat a content calendar as a volume problem. Fill the slots, ship the assets, measure the impressions. It is the reason so many feeds are full and forgettable.

A content engine treats it as a serial. One world, one voice, one look, told in instalments — so that the eleventh piece is worth more than the first because of everything that came before it, not less because the audience has seen it.

Built as a format, not a batch

Before anything is produced we write the format down: the structure each piece follows, the runtime it lives inside, the look it is graded to, and — as importantly — what the format refuses to do. Then we produce against it at an agreed monthly volume.

We publish too, and we read the numbers

We are not guessing at what works in this format. We run a channel in this exact space, in Malayalam, with a real audience, and we look at retention by runtime every month. What we learn there goes into your engine, and the useful parts of it go into the journal, publicly.

What is inside

  • Format design — the repeatable structure each piece is cut to
  • Locked look, so the twentieth piece belongs to the same world as the first
  • Monthly production at an agreed volume
  • Native Malayalam, Tamil and English scripting and voice
  • Vertical-first framing, cut from a canon that also works in 16:9
  • Subtitles and platform-native deliverables
  • A read on what actually held attention, monthly

What you get

  • Format document — structure, look, runtime, and what the format refuses
  • An agreed monthly volume of finished pieces
  • Vertical, square and horizontal cuts of each
  • Subtitle files
  • A short monthly note on retention and what we would change

How this is usually bought

Start here

Pilot

One film, or two episodes. A small, fixed scope on a short timeline — and you keep the full canon documents whether or not we continue.

Sprint / Retainer

A monthly volume at a locked look, produced on a cadence you can plan a calendar around.

Before you have to ask

Will it look AI?
That is what the canon system is for — a locked character sheet, a head-unit scale, six named grades and a frame law, applied to every shot. Judge it on the episodes rather than on a demo. See the canon in the work
How many revisions do we get?
Two rounds before canon lock, stated up front. Changes after canon lock are change orders, priced when they come up. We publish this so it is a conversation at the start rather than an argument at the end. Engagement models
Who is actually doing the work?
The studio is founder-led by Sahaya Rex, who directs every project, and you get one point of contact from first message to delivery. Meet the studio
Do we have to disclose AI use?
We label AI-generated content wherever the platform or your own policy requires it, and we will match your disclosure policy rather than ask you to match ours.
What runtime holds a regional-language animated audience?
Shorter than most brands expect, and dramatically so. Our own channel's retention data is the clearest thing we own on this, and we publish what we have found in the journal rather than keeping it as a pitch trick.
How many pieces a month can you produce?
We agree the volume at format lock and hold it. Predictable output is the point of this offer — a month where the volume is a surprise is a month the engine failed.
Will every piece look like it came from the same place?
That is the entire product. The look is locked at format stage in exactly the same way a series canon is locked, and every piece is graded to it.
Do you guarantee reach?
No, and be wary of anyone who does. Reach on any single platform moves for reasons outside everyone's control. We sell the craft and the knowledge of what holds attention — not impressions we cannot promise.
